Trees Down on Trails

Wind has fallen trees and blocked trails along the Mendocino Coast. As of Sunday Feb.4th these trails are open with some new challenges. Rd. 500 Parallel, TV, Rd. 510 to Three Pipe, Gun Slinger, Thru Tree, South/ North Weir, Forbidden, Underworld, Rd 409 Parallel, Forest History, Cookhouse, Gas Tank, Gas Cap, Rusty's, and Ames Lodge.

David Desautels did a lot of work to clear trails and deserves a major thank you!

New Leadership for MCC in 2007

Jiro Tully has been elected President for 2007. He will work to map trails, update the Club web site, and has many other great ideas for the club in 2007.
Rick Riley will be Secretary in 2007. He is sure to make Club newsletters and e-mails interesting and fun to read. He has a good relationship with local media and will certainly get Club events and concerns out to membership, and the public as well.
