Mendocino Coast Cyclists will again hold a trash clean-up day on Jackson State Forest. Garbage is less then in years past but clean-up is still needed. The plan is to break into small groups and head out to known problem areas. We should regroup around 2pm and load trucks headed to Caspar Garbage Transfer Station. Seven people showed up for four hours to help pickup three truck loads of trash and get it to the garbage transfer station. That's 28 hrs of volunteer time! Lynn from JDSF meet with us in the morning and showed support with words of encouragement and a big plate of brownies!
